Watch Golden Key Talks: Building a professional support tribe with Linnita Hosten

by GOLDEN KEY INNOVATION TEAM

Golden Key International Honour Society, founded on 29 November 1977, is an academic honor society which recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.

What’s a professional tribe – and more importantly, why do you need one? As part of our ongoing Golden Key Talks series, the amazing Linnita Hosten (our keynote speaker in Houston earlier this year) joined us to answer these questions and more. She showed us that it’s not about who you know–but who knows YOU. She explained the three types of individuals that should know YOUR name, and how you can confidently cultivate and sustain long-term professional relationships.

An author, speaker and super proud big sister, Linnita Hosten helps students identify and go after their DREAM career. The high-energy edutainer provides content-packed and research-based programing for organizations, universities and community groups; and group coaching to students. Linnita has been honored with various awards including: Excellence in Education, Youth Speaker of the Year, 40 Under 40 in Education, Education Book of the Year, and Alumni of the Year. Linnita is a Towson University alumna and an education trailblazer in her family.
