Associate Director Spotlight – Tamela Patterson

Tamela Patterson is an Associate Director US Member Engagement at the Golden Key Headquarters here in Atlanta Georgia. Tamela will be responsible for grassroots membership communication and helping local Golden Key chapters drive awareness and launch events on campus. She oversees the US Northeast and Midlands region, which include universities located in states such as New York, Maine, Ohio and Pennsylvania. We were lucky to catch her in between her busy schedule to learn more about this staff member!

 

Where are you from/ where did you grow up?

Born in North Little Rock, Arkansas. Raised in Stone Mountain, GA

Where did you go to college?

Howard University

What did you study in school/ major in?

Physical Therapy

What are some of the things you were involved in, in college?

Student Government, Delta Sigma Theta, Sorority INC, Georgia Club, Allied Health Honor Society

What are your hobbies?

Music, Dancing, Journaling and Traveling

Basketball
