The Governor-General of Australia, His Excellency General the Honourable Sir Peter Cosgrove AK MC (Retd), was recently awarded with honorary membership in Golden Key International Honour Society.

This accolade was presented at Government House in Canberra on Thursday, 12 February, by the chapter at The Australian National University, frequently regarded as the highest ranked university in Australia.

His Excellency was nominated because of his commitment to the Golden Key pillars of academics, leadership and service.

To represent ANU, attendees were chapter president, Nicholas Ramirez; chapter co-advisor, professor Selwyn Cornish; and member Katja Theodorakis. Golden Key was represented by Asia-Pacific Director, Joshua Ang; and University Relations Officer, Myee Gregory.
