Region 6 Summit

Golden Key International Honour Society, founded on 29 November 1977, is an academic honor society which recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.

South Dakota State Golden Key planned and hosted the Region 6 Summit. The conference opening ceremonies were held Feb. 18. From there delegates were invited to play games and relax at the Hobo Hangout and attend a dinner at the Pavilion, hosted by the Golden Key Alumni coordinator. Feb 19 the day kicked off with a business meeting, followed by workshop sessions taught by students and advisors. Students were also given the opportunity to participate in a service project for the Children’s Miracle Network. Our final event of the day was dinner and 30 frames of bowling at the local bowling alley. Feb. 20 delegates traveled home.
