University of Pretoria Chapter Teambuilding Camp

by GOLDEN KEY INNOVATION TEAM

Golden Key International Honour Society, founded on 29 November 1977, is an academic honor society which recognizes and encourages scholastic achievement and excellence among college and university students from all academic disciplines.

The GK UPRE committee 2011 attended a teambuilding camp at Kwalata Game Reserve, 4-6 February. The camp highlighted the following: teambuilding activities & getting to know each other better; personal growth; an explanation of GK, expectations of the committee for the year; explanation and breakdown of various portfolios and year planning of events.
Overall the camp was an enriching experience for everybody. It took individuals out of their comfort zone – the goals of the camp were personal growth, teambuilding and preparation for the year ahead… all of which were successfully achieved.
